Responsibilities
Required strong command on SQL server administration, collaboratively working with the customer and enthusiastic in learning new technical skills.
- Must have minimum at least 8 years of experience with SQL server database administration
- Install,Configure and patching SQL Server Instances including latest versions.
- Monitoring and Managing SQL server infrastructure independently.
- MS SQL Server database administration strengths in implementing security standards, health check of SQL servers and backup, recovery.
- Strong Experience in handling large scale enterprise databases in upgrading,migrating, DR maintenance in a multi site environment.
- Experience in implementing and providing DR solutions in clustering, Always on high availability, log shipping, mirroring and replication.
- Proficient in TSQL Scripting like database design, table design, custom stored procedure creation, functions and triggers.
- Performance tuning: Expertise in database Performance tuning including code optimization, index management, SQL query optimization and table partitioning..
- The Senior DBA will be interested in automating DB tasks using Powershell\T-SQL code etc.
- Experience on Azure, AWS and other databases experience is an added advantage.
- SSIS packages, deployment knowledge, SSRS and SSAS knowledge.
Skills/Experience
Good to have a multi database skill set and basic application knowledge.
- SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2014/2016/2019
- SSIS,SSRS,SSAS
- Basic Windows server administration.
- At least having two monitoring tools and third party backup tools experience.
- Good to have other DB's experience.
- ITIL process awareness.
